Emmy van Deurzen, nacida el 13 de diciembre de 1951 en La Haya, Países Bajos, es una filósofa, psicóloga y terapeuta existencial de renombre internacional. Su enfoque terapéutico se basa en la fenomenología existencial, y ha trabajado en el ámbito de la salud mental desde 1973. A lo largo de su carrera, ha fundado instituciones como la Society for Existential Analysis y la New School for Psychotherapy and Counselling en el Reino Unido.

Sus publicaciones han sido traducidas a más de 30 idiomas, reflejando su influencia global en el campo de la psicoterapia existencial.
