F-6 Sam Peterson leaves the safety of his office cubical in Duluth Minnesota to join a renown storm-chasing crew in Oklahoma. The National Weather Bureau issues the storm warning, and the chase is on. They soon find themselves forced to deal with large debris, tossed out miles from the vortex. Straight line winds that could quickly flip their vehicles into a death roll. After several hours they learn they must find shelter. The U.S. Government is going to bomb the storm with its biggest nuclear warheads in an attempt to stop a catastrophic failure of Earth's atmosphere. Follow this epic adventure in a hair-raising fight for survival as they chase the most violent storm in Earth's history. This team has filmed tornados from Greensburg, Kansas to Moore, Oklahoma, and thousands of others but they have never seen anything close to this. Earth's first EF-6 tornado.
