No four-letter F-words were used in the making of this book. However, it was a four-letter F-word that inspired the writing of this book. The first small group I ever led was for a group of teenage guys who were pretty new to church. After months of doing small group together I really thought I was getting through to them. In fact, one of them even volunteered to pray. I was feeling pretty good about myself until he closed out his prayer "F*%$#*# Amen!".It's moments like that when you begin to question what you're doing leading a small group. This is a book for any small group leader that's ever thought about quitting. You're not alone, it's normal to question why you keep doing it. It's easy to sign up to lead a small group, it's hard to follow through and keep leading when things don't go as you planned (which they never do). Before you quit leading your group, read this book. I know from experience there are days it feels like a grind. There are moments you wonder if this is even making a difference. If anyone would even miss meeting together if you ended this group tomorrow. I promise you, it's worth it. I've seen the life change time and time again and I've seen the fruit that comes when leaders stay in it for the long run.
