In Flight of the Dragon, the Wings of the Dragon Series continues, as Cory and Blossom, now married, build a life together finding purposeful work with the Thailand Children's Home in the Golden Triangle. Blossom resumes her medical work by venturing into opium poppy growing fields, while Cory provides income by flying cargo missions for Air America. Cory's old CIA contact, John, approaches him for a perilous assignment and offers as payment something Cory finds irresistible, opening opportunities for the Children's Home, otherwise thought impossible. What appears simple becomes complicated and challenging. After barely returning unharmed from his daring flight, Cory learns that his compensation has strings attached.
