Raymond Bernard fue el seudónimo utilizado por Walter Isidor Siegmeister, escritor estadounidense nacido en Nueva York en 1903 y fallecido en Brasil en 1965. Fue conocido por sus escritos sobre esoterismo, alimentación, salud alternativa y teorías relacionadas con mundos subterráneos.

Siegmeister estudió en la Universidad de Nueva York, donde obtuvo títulos de posgrado, y desde joven mostró interés por temas espirituales y filosóficos. A lo largo de su vida también promovió ideas relacionadas con dietas vegetarianas y estilos de vida alternativos. Posteriormente comenzó a utilizar el nombre de Raymond Bernard para publicar algunos de sus libros.

Su obra más conocida es La Tierra Hueca (The Hollow Earth), publicada originalmente en 1964. En este libro defendió la teoría de que el interior de nuestro planeta sería habitable y que existirían entradas en las regiones polares. También relacionó estas ideas con civilizaciones subterráneas, ovnis y antiguas leyendas.
