Once you start reading this book it will be hard to put it down.This is a true story based on real life events about Freddy, a tiger-striped tabby cat.The book starts on the day when Freddy was adopted by a young woman, and taken away from his home in the San Fernando Valley (Los Angeles area) to a crowded apartment complex in Santa Monica, where he was forced to share his habitat with lots of other cats. At the beginning Freddy rejects his new environment, including Jen (his new human). He tries to escape, but changes his mind after he meets a friendly black cat named T-bone, who talks him out of running away.With time he gets used to his new neighborhood, and becomes best friend with T-bone. He also survives a vicious cat fight with Dingy Cat (the menace of the neighborhood), gets smitten by Daisy (a young girl cat living next door), and becomes friends with the other cats. There are many other exciting events happening in his life during this one year period.
