Both men had lived through a previous meteorite's assault ten years before. Both remembered that the smell of earth in the air preceded the darkening of the skies. And the six year freeze which followed. This is the story of two groups of survivors. Survivors who've already been through hell, and who are now facing another round. They live in two different places, in two dramatically different shelters. They've been preparing for the latest disaster, and at the same time praying it wouldn't happen. It did. And few would survive.
