Loneliness affects everyone - from the young to the old and from the rich to poor. No one is immune and it appears to be a growing problem. The expressive and creative nature of poetry - in all its many forms can be used to describe the human condition in ways not always possible with straight words and dialogue. The reading of many other sources of poetry can also potentially help those suffering from the plight of unwanted solitude as well.This second Gospel Poetry book tries to highlight this issue of lonesomeness and then present the solution - God's offer of perfect friendship. This solution is found in the Psalms and throughout the Bible and it is the writer's belief that it is the same answer to all of man's many problems.
