Reseña del libro "Grade 7-8 Math Made Fun (en Inglés)"
Help your child build the mathematical foundation needed for algebra, high school math, and confident real-world problem solving.Grade 7-8 Math Made Fun gives learners 100 hands-on activities designed to strengthen rational numbers, proportions, percents, expressions, equations, inequalities, functions, geometry, statistics, probability, and more.Part of the NumberBloom series, this book helps students make the important transition from concrete arithmetic to increasingly abstract mathematics. Instead of focusing on procedures alone, activities encourage learners to model relationships, recognize patterns, interpret graphs, choose strategies, explain their reasoning, and understand why the math works.INSIDE YOU'LL FIND 100 ACTIVITIES COVERING: - Positive and negative rational numbers- Fractions and decimals- Square numbers and square roots- Integer exponents and powers of ten- Scientific notation- Ratios and unit rates- Proportional relationships- Constants of proportionality- Scale drawings and similar figures- Percent increase and decrease- Discounts, tax, tips, markup, and interest- Algebraic expressions- Combining like terms- The distributive property- One-step and two-step equations- Equations with variables on both sides- Inequalities- Independent and dependent variables- Functions and function rules- Linear relationships- Rate of change and introductory slope- Angle relationships- The Pythagorean theorem- Circles, surface area, and volume- Transformations and dilations- Statistical samples and data- Scatter plots and two-way tables- Experimental and compound probability- Multi-step real-world problem solvingFOUR PROGRESSIVE LEVELS BUILD SKILLS STEP BY STEP: LEVEL 1 - RATIONAL NUMBERS, EXPONENTS & NUMBER RELATIONSHIPSStrengthen rational-number operations while exploring square roots, exponents, powers of ten, scientific notation, and important number relationships.LEVEL 2 - PROPORTIONS, PERCENTS & REAL-WORLD MATHEMATICSDevelop proportional reasoning through unit rates, graphs, equations, scale, percents, financial math, and practical applications.LEVEL 3 - EXPRESSIONS, EQUATIONS, INEQUALITIES & FUNCTIONSBuild algebra readiness through expressions, equations, inequalities, variables, functions, linear relationships, and introductory slope.LEVEL 4 - GEOMETRY, STATISTICS, PROBABILITY & INTEGRATED PROBLEM SOLVINGApply mathematics through angles, the Pythagorean theorem, circles, transformations, data analysis, sampling, probability, and multi-step challenges.Every activity includes Skills & Goals, Materials, How to Play, Why This Matters, and a NumberBloom Tip, providing learners and adults with a clear structure for meaningful practice.PERFECT FOR: - Grade 7 and Grade 8 students- Homeschool families- Extra math practice at home- Parents, teachers, tutors, and caregivers- Hands-on and visual learners- Screen-free math practice- Pre-algebra and algebra preparation- Building confidence before high school mathematicsAs mathematics becomes more abstract, NumberBloom keeps important concepts visual, practical, and connected. Learners practice not only finding answers, but representing relationships, testing ideas, checking solutions, and explaining their mathematical thinking.Build the skills. Understand the math. Grow the confidence.Learn It. Build It. Play It. Master It.NumberBloom - Growing Confident Math Thinkers.
