Groupie (en Inglés) - Jenny Fabian;Johnny Byrne;Caroline Sullivan

The thinly fictionalized, pulpy, sex-heavy chronicle of the ultimate groupie at the height of the Sixties—now joining the Remastered series.

A sensation upon its 1969 debut, Groupie revels in the escapades of 19-year-old Katie, charting her hedonistic self-discovery through sex, drugs, and rock’n’roll at the height of the Swinging Sixties.

A semi-fictionalized chronicle of Jenny Fabian’s adventures with the rock heroes of her day, Groupie shocked early audiences with its unflinching portrayal of the decade's underground scene. Featuring graphic depictions of female sexuality and drug-taking, Groupie signalled a radical, riotous departure from the repressive social mores of post-war British society.

As entertaining and exhilarating today as upon its original release, Groupie is a remarkable artefact of the “free love” movement. Sure to intrigue modern audiences with its “who’s who” portrayals of iconic musicians and provocative content, Groupie offers a raucous peak behind the curtain that is rarely offered from a woman's perspective.
