This story was composed as a collaborative effort between four Year 5 students and their tutor and mentor, Frances Prentice. Frances is an author who used a pen name, Kip Aider, for this publication. Her business is called Exploring Literacy and she assisted these students to create a professional publication to encourage them in their creative writing. This simple chapter book is suitable for children aged six to twelve years of age. It is an enjoyable read with lots of action and would suit children who enjoy reading about the humorous adventures of animal characters. The book includes teacher notes with ideas of how to teach creative writing to students and how to examine the narrative structure of this book. It is suitable for classroom teachers or homeschooling parents.
