Hastein's Daughters (en Inglés) - Angie Seymour

Viking raiding bands gather on Thanet to discuss invasion tactics. Hastein, leader of an infamous warband based in Francia, avoids his rivals and beaches his longships on Flegg Isle, north of the River Yare. Hastein's daughter Lindi is anxious to go inland to visit Lee but is forbidden to travel by her brother Guthrum who has sold himself as a mercenary to a local lord. The plot to overthrow Edmund is timed to take place when the Viking jarl, Halfdan sails from Thanet to join Guthrum in the north west of Edmund's kingdom.Guthrum discovers that his allies have kidnapped the sister of his former battle partner, Lee's enigmatic Scandinavian, and withdraws his support. Will the fair Norwegian maiden be rescued? Will Guthrum make a third attempt to conquer Edmund's kingdom?
