"Enoch walked with God; then he was no more, because God took him away." (Genesis 5:24, NIV) Perhaps one of the most provocative lines of Scripture, the small passage above depicts a man's personal relationship with the living God and prefigures the Rapture of the Church. But exactly where did Enoch go? How did his departure affect his friends? What does it mean to "walk" with God? And how can a complex concept like the Rapture be brought down to a level that little children can easily understand? Using a child's greatest motivator, curiosity, Have You Seen Enoch? travels back to biblical times and imagines the story of a young child's search for a friend, Enoch, who has disappeared. With each person whom this child encounters, the strength of Enoch's relationship-his "walk"-with God is revealed. As not much is known about the historical Enoch other than that he pleased God, Jesus' description of the righteous in Matthew 25:34-40 is used as the basis for Enoch's character.
