Vhon Michael reflects on love and life with his new poetry book He Must End. He sets on a journey finding his voice and style in poetry and writing about his love for his partner, his former lovers, his friends, and thinking about the negative effects abusive relationships has done to him, and ending cycles of generational trauma, abuse, injustice, unappreciative, and toxic disregard to feelings and boundaries. This book was written during a period of a 2-year writer's block, exploring the self and finding ways to reinvent. This book is an honest confession of feelings, emotions, and hopes; a raw piece on longing; exposing everything beneath what we present to the world; letting go of our what ifs and could have beens. With detailed, upfront imagery of different mementos and moments Vhon has lived, this work takes you on a rollercoaster.
