Jake DiVincenzo's life has been trending negatively for the last five years. He found his wife in bed with the neighbor two years ago, hasn't had any luck finding a new partner for himself, and although he was once the hottest young screenwriter in LA, he is has lost the ability to write anything creative or new. The good news is that change is on the horizon for Jake when he gets unexpectedly invited to be a groomsman for a fraternity brother at a lavish wedding that begins in Miami and ends at Disney World. Things get more than a bit weird for him there after he meets Calliope the Muse who is posing as a stripper at a gentleman's club during the bachelor party. She offers him a unique gift: to take a short trip back to other relationships in his past in order to make a change that would potentially allow him to end up with a different partner. So he may be able to do what many would envy and end up with the "one that got away." However, if he decides to stay in the past, the cost of staying is great because his children will never exist. And, when he begins to fall in love in real time with a beautiful young South African attorney between his trips back in time, it becomes obvious that Jake's life has become crazier than he would have ever expected possible.
