The content for this read- and draw-along book was created over multiple encounters with our toddler who found it frustrating to communicate effectively with words. He had resorted to biting and tantrums to get what he needed. We found that asking him to draw how he felt helped him become aware of his emotions and how to express them positively. This method of soothing and communication significantly eased his frustration, reduced household tension and strengthened relationships: both parent-parent and parent-child.
