This is my very first book, so I am nervous, and I hope I did well... I Survived Murderapolis (When I was 17), is true story about the day that changed my life forever. On 2/22/96 I was just 17 years old That fateful night I was shot a total of 6 times, and did not believe I would make it. This story will bring you through the experience of being a victim of gun violence, my recovery, and also how it effected my family. This will be the first of an unknow number in a series of chapters of my life that I have been encouraged to share with people. I share my experiences, and people find them interesting. Without being religious, my story is a testimony to The Creator, the power of prayer, the love of family, and faith. With that being said, this is not exactly a gangster story, not the way it's traditionally glamourized at least. So without giving up too much, I thank you again for looking this way for a good read. I am looking forward to bringing you more of the lessons Life has taught me. I am sure that people from many walks of life, can take a lot away from this book. Maybe it will change a young person's life, perhaps it will comfort others' loss of their loved one. Maybe even more, it could help other Survivors of Gun Violence get the help they need to fully recover.
