Ali becomes worried and goes to check up on her. As she opens the door, she sees Neala lying face down on the floor. Ali's first step in, she hears a sizzle and then nothing. What happened to Ali and Neala? What happened to Ali's baby sister is heartbreaking. Ali had to witness her death. Ali had found a place for sale to start a school, but the Mayon Volcano erupted. What happened to Ali's plans about teaching? Right now, it leaves Ali down and out. With Father Bryon guiding her, he helps Ali and a miracle does take place at a children's home where Ali will be teaching students who are just like her.
