Mandalas are a divine technology, portals invoked worldwide by all sorts of people for many different spiritual and emotional reasons. Along with the famous Tibetan monks' intricate and devotional sand mandalas, average folks intuitively doodling mandalas, or coloring in a mandala coloring book is a known stress-reducer. Akin to the dopamine release of a jigsaw puzzle (each piece is a small shot and finishing the whole puzzle is a proper cascade) the mandala offers a similar path to natural joy.
