In the present era, libraries of engineering colleges and polytechnics are playing vital and active role in imparting education and knowledge to students, staff members and the society nearby. They are working as an information centers where users are getting needed information at right time with the available as well as outside resources. In-service training is specially designed to enhance the competence of librarians and also for other skilled library personnel in dealing with variety of library functions.
