In the Wake of Erebus (en Inglés) - Hayden Beaton

In the Wake of Erebus is a Science Fiction story set in our solar system after the black hole Erebus passes by Earth. In its wake, Erebus destroyed the planets integrity, not strong or close enough to swallow the planet whole, instead the planet was ripped apart to rest within its own lose gravitational field. A temporary gathering of rock, magma and the world humanity used to inhabit is entering its final stages.

Those who managed to escape Earth took refuge on Mars, despite a human colony existing on the red planet already, it is not capable of sustaining humanity at its current size. An elite group known as the Reconnaissance and Recovery Corps has made it their duty to return to Earth and salvage who and what they can. In the Wake of Erebus follows one of those members.

Eda Thomas, a young woman whose life was just barely getting started is tasked to return to her home state of Vermont before the entirety of the Northeastern United States is lost for good. Her mission: Return anything of importance.

If only missions to the chunks of Earth were ever that simple.
