Walking an old hunting trail in the local wilderness park, 18-year-old Bobby McCalister discovers the most frightening sight of his life. Not more than fifteen feet off the trail stands a Yellow Jacket Hornet's Hive of epic size. It takes his mind a few seconds to realize what this is and the extreme danger before him. He barely escapes with his life. Bobby then finds it difficult to get people to take him seriously. Then other large hives are located in the area, and the town discovers his story is true but no one is brave enough to fight them. Many residents begin leaving town only making the problem worse as these abandon buildings are often filled with killer hornets. These dangerous wasps will forever change his life when they kill his two lifelong best friends. He and his new girlfriend join his older brother, the chief warden of the county, to hunt them down and destroy them. Over the next couple of months, Bobby, his girlfriend Rachel, and his brother Joe get pulled into a world of mind-bending danger and body stiffening fear as he is forced to help fight one mega hive after another to save his small town from this catastrophic infestation.
