Within this assessment I will begin by first providing an overview of the 33-day war and highlighting in the significant events of the war. I will then address Israel's march to war with Hezbollah and then conduct a historical analysis of Israel to set the proper context to address its decision making process. Afterward I will present a post war analysis from the perspective of Israel and Hezbollah, specifically addressing their war preparations and the results of their efforts. I will then briefly look at the impact of the international community on this conflict. Lastly this essay will provide an overall summary of a few of the more cogent lessons learned from the Israeli-Hezbollah War.This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
