Five stories linked by the same suspense, Italian Gothic is about brave heroines who move through dark and damned places, defying death and facing magical and otherwordly challenges.

Miserere: In 11th-century Italy, Countess Isabella is hosted by Abbot Edmond, a man who is considered a saint. But his gloomy abbey holds many secrets, such as what caused the fire that had damaged the building thirty years earlier?

The Black Death: Pisa, 1348. Florence's life takes a turn for the worse when the plague breaks out in her town, and a fearsome skeleton-like creature on the back of a black steed begins to haunt the place.

The Witch of Krakow: Poland, 15th century. Blanka, a young noblewoman, takes a vow to cover her face and become a nun. But on the way to the abbey, she is hosted at her mysterious uncle's castle. There, Blanka starts to investigate the death of a witch, burned at the stake many years ago.

Solstice: Florence, late 19th century. Caterina goes with her mother to Palazzo Ricasoli in the Tuscan Apennines. Her sister, who used to work there as a servant, prepares to marry the future baron of the land. Caterina's unshakable faith will be put to the test in a place where superstition and the law of nature seem to prevail... and nothing is at it seems.

Roanoke: Jamaica, 17th century. Joanna Stevenson, an Englishwoman, arrives at Puerto Lindo. After losing her father during an attack by the Natives, the girl will have to face many dangers, including an overwhelming love.
