Jocasta (en Inglés) - Sarah Watkins

In this 27-poem collection, Sarah Watkins explores a first love post-mortem, giving voice to the enigmatic feelings of love and obsession. Through the lens of a young female speaker, Jocasta explores identity and near-maternal love across its raw lyrical verses through poignant language and haunting symbolism. This collection features many all new poems as well as two published favorites, "I come across myself on a path," first published in Waymark Magazine, and "Cure," first published in Heart of Flesh Literary Magazine.
