The work is devoted to the life and activity of Alexander Konstantinovich Protozanov, a prominent representative of the party-state elite of the Tyumen region in 1950s-1960s. The main stages of his biography connected with his work in different regions of Russia and former USSR (Altai Krai, Belarus, Udmurtia, Kazakhstan) are considered.
