Sven Sonnenberg was born in Eastern Poland when WWII broke out in 1939. The first artillery shells of the war landed on the home he shared with his parents and sister. Young Sven and his sister survived the war, but his parents were victims of the Holocaust. In 1969, Sven arrived in Detroit Michigan with his wife Elizabeth. Sven gained employment as an engineer with one of the leading automotive and aerospace companies in America. Elizabeth was a talented mechanical designer. In 1995, Elizabeth was diagnosed with an advanced case of breast cancer. She obviously sought the help of the prominent breast cancer specialists. From the moment Sven learned Elizabeth's condition he began researching every aspect of Breast cancer and its possible cures. HE DID NOT STAND BY HELPLESSLY WAITING FOR HIS WIFE TO DIE.
