Reseña del libro "Kobu Demon (en Inglés)"
Kyuri was the deadliest killer the Kitara villages had ever known. She slaughtered for her master without question, until the night she defied him to spare a single child. Now the past has come to finish what she could not. They called her the Kobu Demon. Trained beneath the demon lord Azrael, she was silent, loyal, and merciless, the name whispered when people spoke of the war that ended the world they knew. The Purge was Azrael's design: a campaign to hunt down the bloodlines that carried the Kitara Marks, the ancient magic passed through a handful of chosen families, and to wipe every last one of them off the map. Kyuri was the weapon he aimed at them. She burned the villages and cut down the families she was sent to destroy, until the night she stood over the last name on her list, an infant girl. She raised her sword, and could not bring it down. For the first time in her life, she defied her master. She took the child and ran into the forest.Ten years later that girl has a name, Akaza, and a life Kyuri built around her in the deep forest, hunting and fishing and keeping far from anyone who might recognize either of them. Kyuri hid her from the world, and Akaza does not know that the strange power flickering to life inside her is the same Kitara magic Azrael went to war to erase, the very thing that marked her for death as a child. Kyuri has buried the Demon so deep that some mornings she almost believes that woman is gone. She is not gone. She is only waiting. When a young crown princess rises to power, the enemies who let Kyuri disappear begin to move again, and a new hunter is sent into the forest to find her, someone forged by the same slaughter Kyuri walked away from. The quiet years were never meant to last, and Kyuri has always known it. She only hoped the reckoning would come later, and for someone other than the child she gave up everything to keep.Kobu Demon is a character-driven dark fantasy about guilt, survival, and the long, brutal road toward a redemption that is never promised. For readers who love morally tangled heroines, found family forged in hiding, and emotional stakes that build slowly and land like a wound that won't close.
