In these times of shouted, thrown, ostentatious, words, the Unspeakable has the enchantment of the things mentioned, unspoken, fascinates with the lightness of a few words that go straight to the heart. Behind the elegance of the sentences we see a great job of digging inside that can not (should not) leave indifferent. Faith can be seen between the lines, but not bigoted faith, is faith in the Infinity - of the universe and of the heart - love, great, toward God and thus toward humanity. The Unspeakable is like an outstretched finger tended towards a distant point, which is within us and that sometimes get lost but with the Words of Maggiani we can find him. I highly recommend this book to everyone, even those who are not accustomed to poetry, because it is a beauty that does not hesitate to call extraordinary. In questi tempi di parole urlate, buttate, ostentate, l'Indicibile ha l'incantamento delle cose accennate, non dette, affascina con la levità di poche parole che vanno dritte al cuore. Dietro l'eleganza delle frasi si intravede un grande lavoro di scavo interiore che non può (non deve) lasciare indifferenti. La fede si scorge tra le righe, ma non è fede bigotta, è fede nell'Immensità, sia quella dell'universo, sia quella del cuore, è l'amore, grandioso, verso Dio e, quindi, verso l'umanità. L'Indicibile è come un dito teso a puntare verso un punto lontano, lontanissimo, che è dentro di noi e che a volte smarriamo ma è con le Parole di Maggiani che riusciamo a ritrovarlo. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti, anche a chi non è avvezzo alla poesia, perché è di una bellezza che non esito a definire straordinaria. Giuliano Brenna
