Reseña del libro "Last Ditch (en Inglés)"
LAST DITCH A deadly weapon. A secret facility. One man standing between a rogue scientist and global catastrophe. When two Delta operatives disappear deep inside the Congo, Washington has a problem it can't admit exists. Their mission was supposed to be simple: surveil a secret weapons facility and confirm the rumors. Instead, they discovered something far worse. A covert operation involving Russia, China, and Iran is building a weapon capable of destroying a city without the radioactive signature of a nuclear bomb. The Delta team has been captured. The facility is preparing to move its prototype. And there is only one man the government trusts to go in alone. Brill Wingfield is a ghost. A deniable covert operative with no official identity and no backup, Brill is dropped into the African jungle with one impossible mission: Rescue the Americans. Destroy the facility. Stop the weapon. But the mission goes sideways fast. Hunted by militia fighters, Russian special forces, and elite mercenaries, Brill must fight his way into a fortified mountain complex and sabotage a secret anti-matter weapons program from the inside. Then he discovers the real threat. The weapon has already escaped. Now Brill is racing across the Congo basin in a desperate pursuit of a rogue scientist, a missing anti-matter payload, and an international arms deal that could put an unimaginable weapon into the hands of the highest bidder. From covert jungle operations and special forces combat to high-speed pursuits, mercenary ambushes, secret weapons facilities, and a final airborne confrontation, LAST DITCH is a full-throttle spy action thriller for readers who love relentless heroes, impossible missions, international conspiracies, and nonstop military action. Brill Wingfield has seventy-two hours. And this time, failure isn't an option.
