Rafael Yuste es catedrático de Neurobiología, profesor de Neurociencia y director del Centro de Neurotecnología de la Universidad de Columbia. Yuste es el presidente de la Fundación NeuroRights y coordinador del proyecto BRAIN, un proyecto que financió la administración de Barak Obama y que, desde 2011, intenta desvelar todos los misterios del cerebro, y del grupo Morningside, que integra a los veinticinco neurocientíficos más importantes del mundo en materia de derecho y ética.
