Reseña del libro "LEFT BEHIND (en Inglés)"

People leave before they leave. Zara knows because she can see it happen. It starts in pottery class. Her instructor is still crouched beside her when another version of him stands, crosses the studio, and walks straight through a closed door. Minutes later, the real man follows. Then Zara sees it happen again. Some duplicates walk away. Some linger nearby. Some seem to be waiting for their physical selves to admit something their body already knows. And then Zara sees her own. One of hers has been waiting for eight years. . With her relentlessly practical best friend Dani beside her, Zara follows a trail of strange doubles, forgotten memories, red shoes, and old friendship, and a decision she once called later. The deeper she goes, the harder it becomes to separate the impossible thing happening around her from the choices people have been avoiding all along. And Zara's duplicate isn't going anywhere. How much of yourself can you leave behind before you notice you're gone? Left Behind is a funny, unsettling, speculative novel about the truths people postpone, the selves they quietly abandon, and what might happen if those abandoned pieces stopped waiting patiently to be reclaimed.
