Beyond the view of the general population, the petroleum giants of the world are united as an empire with one common goal: maintaining global financial control. Organized by an entity known as Concentric, they are more powerful than all the armies of the world, and yet operate silently from the shadows of obscurity. Having survived the Vietnam War, a harsh stay in an Oklahoma prison, and induction into the FSSN, he has been transformed into an emotionless, disciplined hit man who has done his job without question or remorse for almost twenty years. Like a landscape repopulating with plant life after a nuclear holocaust, T-Rock is becoming human again, and seeks to leave his life as a mercenary, for good. His eye is set on a warm lakefront community with sociable people who accept him, and have no idea of the projects that continue to encompass his life. Before he is free, he must fulfill one last obligation. The last project, however, could prove to be the most deadly-- for him, and the entire nation. Unknowingly, T-Rock has participated in a project that has infuriated Concentric, and the petroleum empire. In a world of only villains and unlikely allies, T-Rock is left for dead during his final project while Concentric engages the leaders of the FSSN on a personal level.
