Lest Ye Be Judged (en Inglés) - Sheridan Main;TBD

A quiet getaway. A dark forest. And an even darker mystery.

Mandy, a burned-out ICU nurse, travels to Virginia for some much-needed rest and relaxation, an escape from her demanding career and her failing relationship. Her cozy cottage getaway soon turns sinister when she stumbles upon ominous, deeply-buried secrets.

As she struggles to distinguish reality from what may be Appalachian folklore, Mandy is drawn deeper into the center of a murderous mystery. Mandy finds herself caught between a grieving widow, a guilt-ridden father, and a frightened young girl - each carrying a different version of the truth. Utilizing her sharp wit, persistence, ability to read people and situations, and her medical knowledge, she fights to uncover the truth while simultaneously working to keep everyone around her safe. She must confront the unresolved conflicts in her own life in order to understand what is going on around her.

Delving deep into the human ability to be multifaceted- both kind and caring as well as murderous and cunning when the need arises, Lest Ye Be Judged causes one to pause and consider our own basal instincts to survive, the tangled boundaries between guilt and innocence, justice and mercy. Can a person’s terrible choices truly be judged by another person? Is it possible to fully understand what someone else has gone through?

Will the mountains hold their secrets, never letting Mandy find the truth? Can she come to terms with the truth if she does find it? In a place where every secret leave a mark, Mandy must decide whether revealing the truth will bring healing or destroy what remains.

This thrilling mystery will keep you turning pages deep into the night, hoping and praying for Mandy.
