Steven is at his beloved grandfather Raymond's side as his mind begins to break and his body begins to shut down. Raymond's only concern as he approaches the end, his mind coming more undone: Colin. But, Steven has no idea who 'Colin' even is.

When the demands of an estranged uncle, the twin of his late father, lead Steven into the attic of his childhood home in search of some dusty old relic, he discovers something that just might contain the answers to these mysteries. An old box marked 'Colin.'

Steven begins to piece together a new, nearly inconceivable, history of the devout Catholic grandparents who raised him. A history shaped by faith, identity, sacrifice, and impossible choices. The only problem... the box that he found only has half the story.

Pressure to find the other half begins to mount, and when Steven's search leads him to Clara, connections forged decades before begin to echo. A new generation must decide what to do with the secrets they've inherited.
