Letting Go is a collection of poems composed while I was in high school and during my first semester of college, through the happy times and through the states of stress and depression, to show that letting go of your emotions can be a good way to let go of your past. I have learned through experience that it is better to focus on your hope for the future. After all, there is a light at the end of every tunnel, a sunrise after every gloomy night, and happiness after difficult times of sorrow and despair. My poems vary in style and ideas, but they all come from life's everyday inspirations and, with a range of emotions throughout, I explore my inner feelings to try to understand those of others. I hope you enjoy reading these little pieces of myself, and I hope that they inspire you to find your own hope, because there is nothing more important. Here's to letting go of our troubles and enjoying the little things life has to offer.
