Shiro Kuroi es un mangaka conocido por sus obras a color y con un estilo propio que llegan de una manera especial al lector. En 2016 publicó su primera obra, Meikai Hotel, un drama ambientado en un hotel en la frontera entre dos mundos. Posteriormente, en 2022 vio la luz su obra más reciente, Leviathan, publicada en Francia por la editorial Ki-oon.
