When her youngest daughter, Katie, was dealing with a long-term childhood illness, stories were the best way to take her mind off the pain. They let her relax for a while, laugh, and indulge her imagination in silly adventures when her body wasn't strong enough to join in.Later, she discovered that illustrating was also fun and rewarding, so Ms Lee embarked on a mad adventure of her own: To make her stories available for other families to enjoy.The Maisey Daise stories are her first venture into the world of children's literature.
