Sonia Domsch of Atwood, Kansas was "a fourth-generation artist in the family tradition of bobbin lacemaking. Using fancy linen thread, she makes doilies and lace for use on tablecloths, bookmarks, clothing, handkerchiefs, and pillow covers." (National Endowment for the Arts)

Sonia Domsch received the National Heritage Fellowship, awarded annually by the National Endowment for the Arts to recognize individuals who have mastered different culturally defined art forms. Her story is told in first-person narrative, illustrated by intimate photographs that open her studio doors and allow you a glimpse into her world and craft.
