It posits questions, never asked before, of ethical, psychological, social, legal and philosophical nature arising from the exceptional situation it thus creates. The work is an integral part of a larger study on 'Reconstruction of Human Consciousness'. The story elucidates how intensely is the protagonist aware of the question of his identity and how badly does he struggle to find out this secret. Whether he is successful in this venture is that which the story is about. It inevitably contains some technical aspects in biology and medicine, but does not particularly require from the reader any background knowledge of these fields.
