We also review the Dead Sea Scrolls and strict methodology used in copying the Old Testament scrolls. The Old Testament was also translated into Greek from Hebrew into Greek, by Jewish scholars in Alexandria, Egypt. The Greek Old Testament was the Bible in wide use in the time of Jesus, since Alexander the Great, had made Greek the common language of that time. Jesus, the disciples, the apostles and thousands of others would have spoken Greek and used a Greek bible. We hope this is useful for you is reinforcing your current faith or convincing you that the Bible and Jesus are real and that He has paid the price for our sins.
