Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Scientific researchers have discovered a new bacteria or microbe which they have named the microbial wires . Scientists have mentioned that the new microbes forms living electrical cables. Further research have brought up evidence showing that the microbes belong to a microbial family called Desulfobulbaceae. The Desulfobulbaceae have the capability of reducing sulfates to sulfides so that they can obtain energy. The microbial wires are found to share only 92% of their genes with any previously known member of that family. Therefore, the scientific experts have deemed it fit to identify the microbes as proteo-bacteria where they should be considered as a whole new genus. As a matter of fact, scientists are extending their research and study upon this new genus in order to create a new scientific discipline that can integrate the field of biology, geology and chemistry...
