Recycling water, making food, using clean energy, building, and reusing useful things could all be made better by new technology.Scientists chose to send twelve smart robots ahead of them because Mars was too dangerous for big groups of people at first. The robots would look for ice below the ground, build shelters, make energy, get gardens ready, test systems that keep people alive, and fix problems.Atlas, Nova, Sprout, Volt, Echo, Burrow, Patch, Scout, and other high-tech robots were on the team. A smart network called Horizon linked them together.The robots would have to deal with cold weather, storms, darkness, broken equipment, and dangers they didn't expect. They would learn how important it is to be patient, brave, caring, and work together through each obstacle.Why was it called Mission Mars: Build for Earth? Because everything that was learned on Mars could be used to protect Earth.
