More than One Love recounts the story of Lisa Divilla as she carefully proceeds with a new relationship. Lisa lives in California and works as a news anchor. One day, the handsome attorney Bill Gathers asks her out. Bill, who says he is a religious man, clicks instantly with Lisa, but her angels tell her to be careful, as God has plans for both of them. Cinda Jackson tells Lisa that Bill is a womanizer and that she has had a relationship with him, but Lisa chooses to set the information aside. Bill and Lisa enjoy a long platonic weekend together, but upon their return, Cinda tells Lisa that Bill is HIV positive. Bill refutes that claim but acknowledges that Cinda has it, and they were not careful during their time together. Lisa drives to church to gain spiritual guidance, and Bill finds her there but faints. At the hospital, he is given a clean bill of health, and he and Lisa decide to share their love with God and each other forever.
