Mr. Thomas’s Office is a memoir of the time Bill Christiansen (coauthor) spent as a youth in an orphanage in Upstate New York through the eyes of a child, recounting his favorite adventures and experiences, growing from an adolescent to preteen boy in 1940s era with insight to specific adults who cared for him and taught him the meaning of the words work ethic and responsibility. Then there were the boys who accompanied him on his adventures. The good times shared and the happiness they experienced, along with the consequences, the punishments, and the lessons learned from poor choices.
