This book includes two chapters. First chapter (chapter 1A) is concerned with the importance of MW assisted green chemistry approach in organic synthesis and second chapter (chapter 1B) included the importance of 1,4-benzodiazepines in drug design and synthesis. The enormous amount of research work that has been conducted in the pharmaceutical laboratories on these compounds during the last few decades derives its inspiration from the discovery of psychopharmacological properties of 1,4-benzodiazepines and their oxoderivatives.
