Name The Dark (en Inglés) - H. B. Stapley

Monsters hide in the shadows of Blackthorne, but not all monsters have claws.

Born with the mark of a Sentinel and subject to the whims of her secluded, hostile town’s Council, Nyx is charged with defending her people against deadly creatures known as "Others."

As her eighteenth year approaches, bringing with it the Claiming Ceremony that will seal her fate, Nyx’s world is upended when an enticing golden-eyed stranger arrives looking for a new start. For the first time in her life, Nyx finds herself hopeful for freedom-but sometimes hope can be dangerous, especially when lives depend on you.

After a series of beastly attacks, the town and Council demand justice for the lives lost, but as the death count rises and her allies dwindle, Nyx must discover the killer before it finds its next victim.

Nyx’s story is a high-stakes, action-filled, dark historical fantasy brimming with mystery, forbidden romance, and a dash of horror with twist after twist. Name the Dark is a stand-alone novel perfect for fans of Leigh Bardugo, Holly Black, and Susan Dennard.
