Reseña del libro "Nephilim (en Inglés)"

The Bible devotes three verses to the most disturbing story of all. This book tells the rest. In the days before the Flood, two hundred angels—the Watchers—broke the one covenant they had been given: only to watch. They descended upon Mount Hermon, swore under a curse never to turn back, and took the daughters of men for wives. From that betrayal were born the Nephilim: the giants who devoured the world. Naamah, a woman who wanted only to be seen, unknowingly opened the door to ruin. Azazel taught men the blade and the lie. And Enoch, a scribe who walked with God, was carried up to the throne of fire to hear a sentence without pardon—and returned to earth to write it down. Inspired by the Book of Enoch and the apocryphal texts left out of the canon, The Oath of the Watchers weaves into a single saga the fall of the angels, the birth of the giants, the judgment of heaven, and the hope hidden in the heart of the storm. Ten chronicles. A world torn apart by a single desire. And a witness who wrote it all down so that, three thousand years later, someone could read it. An epic of biblical mythology for readers of fallen angels, Nephilim lore, and forbidden apocrypha.
