Jerry Craft es un reconocido autor e ilustrador estadounidense, nacido el 22 de enero de 1963 en Nueva York. Es especialmente conocido por su tira cómica "Mama's Boyz" (1990-2013). En 2019, Craft publicó la novela gráfica "New Kid", que en 2020 se convirtió en el primer cómic en ganar la prestigiosa Medalla Newbery, otorgada a la contribución más destacada a la literatura infantil.
