The story is a collection of memories told to me by my mother. Since her mother wrote of her life, I decided to write my own story. My mother's stories of her childhood intrigued me and I wanted to record them the best I could remember. I added my own stories to the best of my memory which in turn got what happened to him as a boy and how we met. Together we faced many happy times, heartaches, trials and tribulations. These stories range from the births of our children, losses of friends, family and many other events too numerous to list. It is a story of small-town life including its politics, gossip, truths and lies and the repercussions of it all. It's the story of 2 people that loved each other while fighting to stay together in the midst of opposition from others who told them their love would never last and should not be. They fought them with tooth and nail for they knew in their hearts the others were wrong. These things only succeeded in bringing them closer together and proved they were all wrong.
